3And Abraham85 rose up early7925 in the morning1242, and saddled2280 his ass2543, and took3947 two8147 of his young men5288 with him, and Isaac3327 his son1121, and clave1234 the wood6086 for the burnt offering5930, and rose up6965, and went3212 unto the place4725 of which God430 had told559 him.
4Then on the third7992 day3117 Abraham85 lifted up5375 his eyes5869, and saw7200 the place4725 afar off7350.
5And Abraham85 said559 unto his young men5288, Abide3427 ye here with the ass2543; and I and the lad5288 will go3212 yonder3541 and worship7812, and come again7725 to you.
6And Abraham85 took3947 the wood6086 of the burnt offering5930, and laid7760 it upon Isaac3327 his son1121; and he took3947 the fire784 in his hand3027, and a knife3979; and they went3212 both8147 of them together3162.
7And Isaac3327 spake559 unto Abraham85 his father1, and said559, My father1: and he said559, Here am I, my son1121. And he said559, Behold the fire784 and the wood6086: but where is the lamb7716 for a burnt offering5930?
8And Abraham85 said559, My son1121, God430 will provide7200 himself a lamb7716 for a burnt offering5930: so they went3212 both of them8147 together3162.
9And they came935 to the place4725 which God430 had told559 him of; and Abraham85 built1129 an altar4196 there, and laid6186 the wood6086 in order6186, and bound6123 Isaac3327 his son1121, and laid7760 him on the altar4196 upon4605 the wood6086.
10And Abraham85 stretched forth7971 his hand3027, and took3947 the knife3979 to slay7819 his son1121.
11And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 called7121 unto him out of heaven8064, and said559, Abraham85, Abraham85: and he said559, Here am I.
12And he said559, Lay7971 not thine hand3027 upon413 the lad5288, neither do thou6213 any thing3972 unto him: for now6258 I know3045 that thou fearest3373 God430, seeing thou hast not3808 withheld2820 thy son1121, thine only3173 son from me.
13And Abraham85 lifted up5375 his eyes5869, and looked7200, and behold behind310 him a ram352 caught270 in a thicket5442 by his horns7161: and Abraham85 went3212 and took3947 the ram352, and offered him up5927 for a burnt offering5930 in the stead8478 of his son1121.
14And Abraham85 called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Jehovahjireh3070: as834 it is said559 to this day3117, In the mount2022 of the LORD3068 it shall be seen7200.
15And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 called7121 unto Abraham85 out of heaven8064 the second time8145,
16And said559, By myself have I sworn7650, saith5002 the LORD3068, for because3282 834 thou hast done6213 this thing1697, and hast not3808 withheld2820 thy son1121, thine only3173 son:
17That in blessing1288 I will bless1288 thee, and in multiplying7235 I will multiply7235 thy seed2233 as the stars3556 of the heaven8064, and as the sand2344 which is upon the sea3220 shore8193; and thy seed2233 shall possess3423 the gate8179 of his enemies341;
18And in thy seed2233 shall all the nations1471 of the earth776 be blessed1288; because834 6118 thou hast obeyed8085 my voice6963.
19So Abraham85 returned7725 unto his young men5288, and they rose up6965 and went3212 together3162 to Beersheba884; and Abraham85 dwelt3427 at Beersheba884.
20And it came to pass after310 these things1697, that it was told5046 Abraham85, saying559, Behold, Milcah4435, she hath also born3205 children1121 unto thy brother251 Nahor5152;
21Huz5780 his firstborn1060, and Buz938 his brother251, and Kemuel7055 the father1 of Aram758,
22And Chesed3777, and Hazo2375, and Pildash6394, and Jidlaph3044, and Bethuel1328.
23And Bethuel1328 begat3205 Rebekah7259: these eight8083 Milcah4435 did bear3205 to Nahor5152, Abraham's85 brother251.
24And his concubine6370, whose name8034 was Reumah7208, she bare3205 also Tebah2875, and Gaham1514, and Thahash8477, and Maachah4601.
