28And it came to pass, when Israel3478 was strong2388, that they put7760 the Canaanites3669 to tribute4522, and did not utterly3423 drive them out3423.
29Neither did Ephraim669 drive out3423 the Canaanites3669 that dwelt3427 in Gezer1507; but the Canaanites3669 dwelt3427 in Gezer1507 among7130 them.
30Neither did Zebulun2074 drive out3423 the inhabitants3427 of Kitron7003, nor the inhabitants3427 of Nahalol5096; but the Canaanites3669 dwelt3427 among7130 them, and became tributaries4522.

34And the Amorites567 forced3905 the children1121 of Dan1835 into the mountain2022: for they would not suffer5414 them to come down3381 to the valley6010:
35But the Amorites567 would2974 dwell3427 in mount2022 Heres2776 in Aijalon357, and in Shaalbim8169: yet the hand3027 of the house1004 of Joseph3130 prevailed3513, so that they became tributaries4522.
36And the coast1366 of the Amorites567 was from the going up4608 to Akrabbim4610, from the rock5553, and upward4605.
