3So Solomon8010, and all the congregation6951 with him, went3212 to the high place1116 that was at Gibeon1391; for there was the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150 of God430, which Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 had made6213 in the wilderness4057.
4But61 the ark727 of God430 had David1732 brought up5927 from Kirjathjearim7157 to the place which David1732 had prepared3559 for it: for he had pitched5186 a tent168 for it at Jerusalem3389.

9Now, O LORD3068 God430, let thy promise1697 unto David1732 my father1 be established539: for thou hast made me king4427 over a people5971 like the dust6083 of the earth776 in multitude7227.
10Give5414 me now wisdom2451 and knowledge4093, that I may go out3318 and come in935 before6440 this people5971: for who can judge8199 this thy people5971, that is so great1419?
11And God430 said559 to Solomon8010, Because this was in thine heart3824, and thou hast not asked7592 riches6239, wealth5233, or honour3519, nor the life5315 of thine enemies8130, neither yet hast asked7592 long7227 life3117; but hast asked7592 wisdom2451 and knowledge4093 for thyself, that thou mayest judge8199 my people5971, over whom I have made thee king4427:
12Wisdom2451 and knowledge4093 is granted5414 unto thee; and I will give5414 thee riches6239, and wealth5233, and honour3519, such as none of the kings4428 have had that have been before6440 thee, neither shall there any after310 thee have the like.
13Then Solomon8010 came935 from his journey to the high place1116 that was at Gibeon1391 to Jerusalem3389, from before6440 the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150, and reigned4427 over Israel3478.
14And Solomon8010 gathered622 chariots7393 and horsemen6571: and he had a thousand505 and four702 hundred3967 chariots7393, and twelve8147 6240 thousand505 horsemen6571, which he placed3240 in the chariot7393 cities5892, and with the king4428 at Jerusalem3389.
15And the king4428 made5414 silver3701 and gold2091 at Jerusalem3389 as plenteous as stones68, and cedar trees730 made5414 he as the sycomore trees8256 that are in the vale8219 for abundance7230.
