2Ye shall utterly6 destroy6 all the places4725, wherein the nations1471 which834 ye shall possess3423 served5647 their gods430, upon the high7311 mountains2022, and upon the hills1389, and under every green7488 tree6086:
3And ye shall overthrow5422 their altars4196, and break7665 their pillars4676, and burn8313 their groves842 with fire784; and ye shall hew down1438 the graven images6456 of their gods430, and destroy6 the names8034 of them out of that place4725.
4Ye shall not do so6213 unto the LORD3068 your God430.
5But unto the place4725 which the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose977 out of all your tribes7626 to put7760 his name8034 there, even unto his habitation7933 shall ye seek1875, and thither thou shalt come935:
6And thither ye shall bring935 your burnt offerings5930, and your sacrifices2077, and your tithes4643, and heave offerings8641 of your hand3027, and your vows5088, and your freewill offerings5071, and the firstlings1062 of your herds1241 and of your flocks6629:
7And there ye shall eat398 before6440 the LORD3068 your God430, and ye shall rejoice8055 in all that ye put4916 your hand3027 unto, ye and your households1004, wherein the LORD3068 thy God430 hath blessed1288 thee.
8Ye shall not do6213 after all the things that we do6213 here this day3117, every man376 whatsoever is right3477 in his own eyes5869.
9For ye are not as yet come935 to the rest4496 and to the inheritance5159, which the LORD3068 your God430 giveth5414 you.
10But when ye go over5674 Jordan3383, and dwell3427 in the land776 which the LORD3068 your God430 giveth you to inherit5157, and when he giveth you rest5117 from all your enemies341 round about5439, so that ye dwell3427 in safety983;
11Then there shall be a place4725 which the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose977 to cause his name8034 to dwell7931 there; thither shall ye bring935 all that I command6680 you; your burnt offerings5930, and your sacrifices2077, your tithes4643, and the heave offering8641 of your hand3027, and all your choice4005 vows5088 which ye vow5087 unto the LORD3068:
12And ye shall rejoice8055 before6440 the LORD3068 your God430, ye, and your sons1121, and your daughters1323, and your menservants5650, and your maidservants519, and the Levite3881 that is within your gates8179; forasmuch3588 as he hath no part2506 nor inheritance5159 with you.
13Take heed8104 to thyself that thou offer5927 not thy burnt offerings5930 in every place4725 that thou seest7200:
14But in the place4725 which the LORD3068 shall choose977 in one259 of thy tribes7626, there thou shalt offer5927 thy burnt offerings5930, and there thou shalt do6213 all that I command6680 thee.
15Notwithstanding thou mayest kill2076 and eat398 flesh1320 in all thy gates8179, whatsoever thy soul5315 lusteth after185, according to the blessing1293 of the LORD3068 thy God430 which he hath given5414 thee: the unclean2931 and the clean2889 may eat398 thereof, as of the roebuck6643, and as of the hart354.
16Only ye shall not eat398 the blood1818; ye shall pour8210 it upon the earth776 as water4325.
17Thou mayest3201 not eat398 within thy gates8179 the tithe4643 of thy corn1715, or of thy wine8492, or of thy oil3323, or the firstlings1062 of thy herds1241 or of thy flock6629, nor any of thy vows5088 which thou vowest5087, nor thy freewill offerings5071, or heave offering8641 of thine hand3027:
18But thou must eat398 them before6440 the LORD3068 thy God430 in the place4725 which the LORD3068 thy God430 shall choose977, thou, and thy son1121, and thy daughter1323, and thy manservant5650, and thy maidservant519, and the Levite3881 that is within thy gates8179: and thou shalt rejoice8055 before6440 the LORD3068 thy God430 in all that thou puttest4916 thine hands3027 unto.
19Take heed8104 to thyself that thou forsake5800 not the Levite3881 as long as thou livest3117 upon the earth127.
20When the LORD3068 thy God430 shall enlarge7337 thy border1366, as he hath promised1696 thee, and thou shalt say559, I will eat398 flesh1320, because thy soul5315 longeth183 to eat398 flesh1320; thou mayest eat398 flesh1320, whatsoever thy soul5315 lusteth after185.
21If the place4725 which the LORD3068 thy God430 hath chosen977 to put7760 his name8034 there be too far7368 from thee, then thou shalt kill2076 of thy herd1241 and of thy flock6629, which the LORD3068 hath given5414 thee, as I have commanded6680 thee, and thou shalt eat398 in thy gates8179 whatsoever thy soul5315 lusteth after185.
22Even as the roebuck6643 and the hart354 is eaten398, so thou shalt eat398 them: the unclean2931 and the clean2889 shall eat398 of them alike3162.
23Only be sure2388 that thou eat398 not the blood1818: for the blood1818 is the life5315; and thou mayest not eat398 the life5315 with the flesh1320.
24Thou shalt not eat398 it; thou shalt pour8210 it upon the earth776 as water4325.
25Thou shalt not eat398 it; that it may go well3190 with thee, and with thy children1121 after310 thee, when thou shalt do6213 that which is right3477 in the sight5869 of the LORD3068.
26Only thy holy things6944 which thou hast, and thy vows5088, thou shalt take5375, and go935 unto the place4725 which the LORD3068 shall choose977:
27And thou shalt offer6213 thy burnt offerings5930, the flesh1320 and the blood1818, upon the altar4196 of the LORD3068 thy God430: and the blood1818 of thy sacrifices2077 shall be poured out8210 upon the altar4196 of the LORD3068 thy God430, and thou shalt eat398 the flesh1320.
28Observe8104 and hear8085 all these words1697 which I command6680 thee, that it may go well3190 with thee, and with thy children1121 after310 thee for5704 ever5769, when thou doest6213 that which is good2896 and right3477 in the sight5869 of the LORD3068 thy God430.
29When the LORD3068 thy God430 shall cut off3772 the nations1471 from before6440 thee, whither thou goest935 to possess3423 them, and thou succeedest3423 them, and dwellest3427 in their land776;
30Take heed8104 to thyself that thou be not snared5367 by following310 them, after310 that they be destroyed8045 from before6440 thee; and that thou enquire1875 not after their gods430, saying559, How did these nations1471 serve5647 their gods430? even so will I do6213 likewise1571.
31Thou shalt not do6213 so unto the LORD3068 thy God430: for every abomination8441 to the LORD3068, which he hateth8130, have they done6213 unto their gods430; for even their sons1121 and their daughters1323 they have burnt8313 in the fire784 to their gods430.
32What thing1697 soever I command6680 you, observe8104 to do6213 it: thou shalt not add3254 thereto, nor diminish1639 from it.
