4Save657 when there shall be no poor34 among you; for the LORD3068 shall greatly1288 bless1288 thee in the land776 which the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee for an inheritance5159 to possess3423 it: Save: or, To the end that there be no poor among you

5Only if thou carefully8085 hearken8085 unto the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God430, to observe8104 to do6213 all these commandments4687 which I command6680 thee this day3117.

6For the LORD3068 thy God430 blesseth1288 thee, as he promised1696 thee: and thou shalt lend5670 unto many7227 nations1471, but thou shalt not borrow5670; and thou shalt reign4910 over many7227 nations1471, but they shall not reign4910 over thee.

10Thou shalt surely5414 give5414 him, and thine heart3824 shall not be grieved3415 when thou givest5414 unto him: because1558 that for this thing1697 the LORD3068 thy God430 shall bless1288 thee in all thy works4639, and in all that thou puttest4916 thine hand3027 unto.

11For the poor34 shall never cease2308 out of7130 the land776: therefore I command6680 thee, saying559, Thou shalt open6605 thine hand3027 wide6605 unto thy brother251, to thy poor6041, and to thy needy34, in thy land776.

12And if thy brother251, an Hebrew man5680, or an Hebrew woman5680, be sold4376 unto thee, and serve5647 thee six8337 years8141; then in the seventh7637 year8141 thou shalt let him go7971 free2670 from thee.

13And when thou sendest7971 him out free2670 from thee, thou shalt not let him go away7971 empty7387:

14Thou shalt furnish6059 him liberally6059 out of thy flock6629, and out of thy floor1637, and out of thy winepress3342: of that wherewith the LORD3068 thy God430 hath blessed1288 thee thou shalt give5414 unto him.
