3Thou shalt prepare3559 thee a way1870, and divide the coasts1366 of thy land776, which the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth thee to inherit5157, into three parts8027, that every slayer7523 may flee5127 thither.
4And this is the case1697 of the slayer7523, which shall flee5127 thither, that he may live2425: Whoso killeth5221 his neighbour7453 ignorantly1097 1847, whom he hated8130 not in time8543 past8032;

8And if the LORD3068 thy God430 enlarge7337 thy coast1366, as he hath sworn7650 unto thy fathers1, and give5414 thee all the land776 which he promised1696 to give5414 unto thy fathers1;
9If thou shalt keep8104 all these commandments4687 to do6213 them, which I command6680 thee this day3117, to love157 the LORD3068 thy God430, and to walk3212 ever3117 in his ways1870; then shalt thou add3254 three7969 cities5892 more for thee, beside these three7969:
10That innocent5355 blood1818 be not shed8210 in7130 thy land776, which the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee for an inheritance5159, and so blood1818 be upon thee.
11But if any man376 hate8130 his neighbour7453, and lie in wait693 for him, and rise up6965 against him, and smite5221 him mortally5315 that he die4191, and fleeth5127 into one259 of these411 cities5892:
12Then the elders2205 of his city5892 shall send7971 and fetch3947 him thence, and deliver5414 him into the hand3027 of the avenger1350 of blood1818, that he may die4191.
13Thine eye5869 shall not pity2347 him, but thou shalt put away1197 the guilt of innocent5355 blood1818 from Israel3478, that it may go well2895 with thee.
14Thou shalt not remove5253 thy neighbour's7453 landmark1366, which they of old time7223 have set1379 in thine inheritance5159, which thou shalt inherit5157 in the land776 that the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee to possess3423 it.
15One259 witness5707 shall not rise up6965 against a man376 for any iniquity5771, or for any sin2403, in any sin2399 that he sinneth2398: at the mouth6310 of two8147 witnesses5707, or at the mouth6310 of three7969 witnesses5707, shall the matter1697 be established6965.
16If a false2555 witness5707 rise up6965 against any man376 to testify6030 against him that which is wrong5627;
17Then both8147 the men582, between whom the controversy7379 is, shall stand5975 before6440 the LORD3068, before6440 the priests3548 and the judges8199, which shall be in those days3117;
18And the judges8199 shall make diligent3190 inquisition1875: and, behold, if the witness5707 be a false8267 witness5707, and hath testified6030 falsely8267 against his brother251;
19Then shall ye do6213 unto him, as he had thought2161 to have done6213 unto his brother251: so shalt thou put1197 the evil7451 away1197 from among7130 you.
20And those which remain7604 shall hear8085, and fear3372, and shall henceforth3254 commit6213 no more any1697 such evil7451 among7130 you.
21And thine eye5869 shall not pity2347; but life5315 shall go for life5315, eye5869 for eye5869, tooth8127 for tooth8127, hand3027 for hand3027, foot7272 for foot7272.
