4He is the Rock6697, his work6467 is perfect8549: for all his ways1870 are judgment4941: a God410 of truth530 and without iniquity5766, just6662 and right3477 is he.
5They have corrupted7843 themselves, their spot3971 is not the spot of his children1121: they are a perverse6141 and crooked6618 generation1755.
6Do ye thus requite1580 the LORD3068, O foolish5036 people5971 and unwise2450? is not he thy father1 that hath bought7069 thee? hath he not made6213 thee, and established3559 thee?

16They provoked him to jealousy7065 with strange2114 gods, with abominations8441 provoked they him to anger3707.

31For their rock6697 is not as our Rock6697, even our enemies341 themselves being judges6414.
32For their vine1612 is of the vine1612 of Sodom5467, and of the fields7709 of Gomorrah6017: their grapes6025 are grapes6025 of gall7219, their clusters811 are bitter4846:
33Their wine3196 is the poison2534 of dragons8577, and the cruel393 venom7219 of asps6620.
34Is not this laid up in store3647 with me, and sealed up2856 among my treasures214?
35To me belongeth vengeance5359, and recompence8005; their foot7272 shall slide4131 in due time6256: for the day3117 of their calamity343 is at hand7138, and the things that shall come6264 upon them make haste2363.
