3Speak1696 ye unto all the congregation5712 of Israel3478, saying559, In the tenth6218 day of this month2320 they shall take3947 to them every man376 a lamb7716, according to the house1004 of their fathers1, a lamb7716 for an house1004:
4And if the household1004 be1961 too little4591 for the lamb7716, let him and his neighbour7934 next7138 unto his house1004 take3947 it according to the number4373 of the souls5315; every man376 according6310 to his eating400 shall make your count3699 for the lamb7716.
5Your lamb7716 shall be without blemish8549, a male2145 of the first1121 year8141: ye shall take3947 it out from the sheep3532, or from the goats5795:
6And ye shall keep4931 it up until the fourteenth702 6240 day3117 of the same month2320: and the whole3605 assembly6951 of the congregation5712 of Israel3478 shall kill7819 it in996 the evening6153.
7And they shall take3947 of the blood1818, and strike5414 it on the two8147 side posts4201 and on the upper door post4947 of the houses1004, wherein they shall eat398 it.
8And they shall eat398 the flesh1320 in that night3915, roast6748 with fire784, and unleavened bread4682; and with bitter4844 herbs they shall eat398 it.

13And the blood1818 shall be to you for a token226 upon the houses1004 where ye are: and when I see7200 the blood1818, I will pass6452 over you, and the plague5063 shall not be upon you to destroy4889 you, when I smite5221 the land776 of Egypt4714.
14And this day3117 shall be unto you for a memorial2146; and ye shall keep2287 it a feast2282 to the LORD3068 throughout your generations1755; ye shall keep it a feast2287 by an ordinance2708 for ever5769.
15Seven7651 days3117 shall ye eat398 unleavened bread4682; even389 the first7223 day3117 ye shall put away7673 leaven7603 out of your houses1004: for whosoever eateth398 leavened bread2557 from the first7223 day3117 until the seventh7637 day3117, that soul5315 shall be cut3772 off from Israel3478.

17And ye shall observe8104 the feast of unleavened bread4682; for in this selfsame6106 day3117 have I brought3318 your armies6635 out of the land776 of Egypt4714: therefore shall ye observe8104 this day3117 in your generations1755 by an ordinance2708 for ever5769.

20Ye shall eat398 nothing leavened2556; in all your habitations4186 shall ye eat398 unleavened bread4682.
21Then Moses4872 called7121 for all the elders2205 of Israel3478, and said559 unto them, Draw out4900 and take3947 you a lamb6629 according to your families4940, and kill7819 the passover6453.
22And ye shall take3947 a bunch92 of hyssop231, and dip2881 it in the blood1818 that is in the bason5592, and strike5060 the lintel4947 and the two8147 side posts4201 with the blood1818 that is in the bason5592; and none376 of you shall go out3318 at the door6607 of his house1004 until the morning1242.
23For the LORD3068 will pass through5674 to smite5062 the Egyptians4714; and when he seeth7200 the blood1818 upon the lintel4947, and on the two8147 side posts4201, the LORD3068 will pass over6452 the door6607, and will not suffer5414 the destroyer7843 to come935 in unto your houses1004 to smite5062 you.
24And ye shall observe8104 this thing1697 for an ordinance2706 to thee and to thy sons1121 for5704 ever5769.
25And it shall come to pass, when ye be come935 to the land776 which the LORD3068 will give5414 you, according as he hath promised1696, that ye shall keep8104 this service5656.
26And it shall come to pass, when your children1121 shall say559 unto you, What mean ye by this service5656?
27That ye shall say559, It is the sacrifice2077 of the LORD'S3068 passover6453, who passed6452 over the houses1004 of the children1121 of Israel3478 in Egypt4714, when he smote5062 the Egyptians4714, and delivered5337 our houses1004. And the people5971 bowed the head6915 and worshipped7812.
28And the children1121 of Israel3478 went away3212, and did6213 as the LORD3068 had commanded6680 Moses4872 and Aaron175, so did6213 they.
29And it came to pass, that at midnight2677 3915 the LORD3068 smote5221 all the firstborn1060 in the land776 of Egypt4714, from the firstborn1060 of Pharaoh6547 that sat3427 on his throne3678 unto the firstborn1060 of the captive7628 that was in the dungeon1004 953; and all the firstborn1060 of cattle929.
30And Pharaoh6547 rose up6965 in the night3915, he, and all his servants5650, and all the Egyptians4714; and there was a great1419 cry6818 in Egypt4714; for there was not a house1004 where there was not one dead4191.
31And he called7121 for Moses4872 and Aaron175 by night3915, and said559, Rise up6965, and get you forth3318 from among8432 my people5971, both ye and the children1121 of Israel3478; and go3212, serve5647 the LORD3068, as ye have said1696.
32Also take3947 your flocks6629 and your herds1241, as ye have said1696, and be gone3212; and bless1288 me also.
33And the Egyptians4714 were urgent2388 upon the people5971, that they might send7971 them out of the land776 in haste4116; for they said559, We be all dead4191 men.
34And the people5971 took5375 their dough1217 before it was leavened2556, their kneadingtroughs4863 being bound up6887 in their clothes8071 upon their shoulders7926.
35And the children1121 of Israel3478 did6213 according to the word1697 of Moses4872; and they borrowed7592 of the Egyptians4714 jewels3627 of silver3701, and jewels3627 of gold2091, and raiment8071:
36And the LORD3068 gave5414 the people5971 favour2580 in the sight5869 of the Egyptians4714, so that they lent7592 unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled5337 the Egyptians4714.

38And a mixed6154 multitude7227 went up5927 also with them; and flocks6629, and herds1241, even very3966 much3515 cattle4735.
39And they baked644 unleavened4682 cakes5692 of the dough1217 which they brought forth3318 out of Egypt4714, for it was not leavened2556; because they were thrust out1644 of Egypt4714, and could3201 not tarry4102, neither had they prepared6213 for themselves any victual6720.
40Now the sojourning4186 of the children1121 of Israel3478, who dwelt3427 in Egypt4714, was four702 hundred3967 8141 and thirty7970 years8141.
41And it came to pass at the end7093 of the four702 hundred3967 8141 and thirty7970 years8141, even the selfsame6106 day3117 it came to pass, that all the hosts6635 of the LORD3068 went out3318 from the land776 of Egypt4714.
42It is a night3915 to be much observed8107 unto the LORD3068 for bringing3318 them out from the land776 of Egypt4714: this is that night3915 of the LORD3068 to be observed8107 of all the children1121 of Israel3478 in their generations1755.
43And the LORD3068 said559 unto Moses4872 and Aaron175, This is the ordinance2708 of the passover6453: There shall no stranger1121 5236 eat398 thereof:
44But every man's376 servant5650 that is bought4736 for money3701, when thou hast circumcised4135 him, then shall he eat398 thereof.
45A foreigner8453 and an hired servant7916 shall not eat398 thereof.
46In one259 house1004 shall it be eaten398; thou shalt not carry forth3318 ought of the flesh1320 abroad2351 out of the house1004; neither shall ye break7665 a bone6106 thereof.

51And it came to pass the selfsame6106 day3117, that the LORD3068 did bring3318 the children1121 of Israel3478 out of the land776 of Egypt4714 by their armies6635.
