2Thou shalt speak1696 all that I command6680 thee: and Aaron175 thy brother251 shall speak1696 unto Pharaoh6547, that he send7971 the children1121 of Israel3478 out of his land776.
3And I will harden7185 Pharaoh's6547 heart3820, and multiply7235 my signs226 and my wonders4159 in the land776 of Egypt4714.
4But Pharaoh6547 shall not hearken8085 unto you, that I may lay5414 my hand3027 upon Egypt4714, and bring forth3318 mine armies6635, and my people5971 the children1121 of Israel3478, out of the land776 of Egypt4714 by great1419 judgments8201.
5And the Egyptians4714 shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068, when I stretch forth5186 mine hand3027 upon Egypt4714, and bring out3318 the children1121 of Israel3478 from among8432 them.
6And Moses4872 and Aaron175 did6213 as the LORD3068 commanded6680 them, so did6213 they.
7And Moses4872 was fourscore8084 years8141 old1121, and Aaron175 fourscore8084 and three7969 years8141 old1121, when they spake1696 unto Pharaoh6547.
8And the LORD3068 spake559 unto Moses4872 and unto Aaron175, saying559,
9When Pharaoh6547 shall speak1696 unto you, saying559, Shew5414 a miracle4159 for you: then thou shalt say559 unto Aaron175, Take3947 thy rod4294, and cast7993 it before6440 Pharaoh6547, and it shall become a serpent8577.
10And Moses4872 and Aaron175 went in935 unto Pharaoh6547, and they did6213 so as the LORD3068 had commanded6680: and Aaron175 cast down7993 his rod4294 before6440 Pharaoh6547, and before6440 his servants5650, and it became a serpent8577.
11Then Pharaoh6547 also called7121 the wise men2450 and the sorcerers3784: now the magicians2748 of Egypt4714, they also did6213 in like manner3651 with their enchantments3858.
12For they cast down7993 every man376 his rod4294, and they became serpents8577: but Aaron's175 rod4294 swallowed up1104 their rods4294.
13And he hardened2388 Pharaoh's6547 heart3820, that he hearkened8085 not unto them; as the LORD3068 had said1696.
14And the LORD3068 said559 unto Moses4872, Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 is hardened3515, he refuseth3985 to let the people5971 go7971.
15Get3212 thee unto Pharaoh6547 in the morning1242; lo, he goeth out3318 unto the water4325; and thou shalt stand5324 by the river's2975 brink8193 against he come7125; and the rod4294 which was turned2015 to a serpent5175 shalt thou take3947 in thine hand3027.
16And thou shalt say559 unto him, The LORD3068 God430 of the Hebrews5680 hath sent7971 me unto thee, saying559, Let my people5971 go7971, that they may serve5647 me in the wilderness4057: and, behold, hitherto3541 thou wouldest not hear8085.
17Thus saith559 the LORD3068, In this thou shalt know3045 that I am the LORD3068: behold, I will smite5221 with the rod4294 that is in mine hand3027 upon the waters4325 which are in the river2975, and they shall be turned2015 to blood1818.
18And the fish1710 that is in the river2975 shall die4191, and the river2975 shall stink887; and the Egyptians4714 shall lothe3811 to drink8354 of the water4325 of the river2975.
19And the LORD3068 spake559 unto Moses4872, Say559 unto Aaron175, Take3947 thy rod4294, and stretch out5186 thine hand3027 upon the waters4325 of Egypt4714, upon their streams5104, upon their rivers2975, and upon their ponds98, and upon all their pools4723 of water4325, that they may become blood1818; and that there may be blood1818 throughout all the land776 of Egypt4714, both in vessels of wood6086, and in vessels of stone68.
20And Moses4872 and Aaron175 did6213 so, as the LORD3068 commanded6680; and he lifted up7311 the rod4294, and smote5221 the waters4325 that were in the river2975, in the sight5869 of Pharaoh6547, and in the sight5869 of his servants5650; and all the waters4325 that were in the river2975 were turned2015 to blood1818.
21And the fish1710 that was in the river2975 died4191; and the river2975 stank887, and the Egyptians4714 could3201 not drink8354 of the water4325 of the river2975; and there was blood1818 throughout all the land776 of Egypt4714.
22And the magicians2748 of Egypt4714 did6213 so with their enchantments3909: and Pharaoh's6547 heart3820 was hardened2388, neither did he hearken8085 unto them; as the LORD3068 had said1696.
23And Pharaoh6547 turned6437 and went935 into his house1004, neither did he set7896 his heart3820 to this2063 also.
24And all the Egyptians4714 digged2658 round about5439 the river2975 for water4325 to drink8354; for they could3201 not drink8354 of the water4325 of the river2975.
25And seven7651 days3117 were fulfilled4390, after310 that the LORD3068 had smitten5221 the river2975.
