Ezekiel 13:1-23 KJV11 - Bible AI

And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came unto me, saying559,

Son1121 of man120, prophesy5012 against the prophets5030 of Israel3478 that prophesy5012, and say559 thou unto them that prophesy5030 out of their own hearts3820, Hear8085 ye the word1697 of the LORD3068; that prophesy out: Heb. that are prophets out of their own hearts

Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Woe1945 unto the foolish5036 prophets5030, that follow1980 310 their own spirit7307, and have seen7200 nothing! follow: Heb. walk after and: or, and things which they have not seen

O Israel3478, thy prophets5030 are like the foxes7776 in the deserts2723.

Ye have not gone up5927 into the gaps6556, neither made up1443 the hedge1447 for the house1004 of Israel3478 to stand5975 in the battle4421 in the day3117 of the LORD3068. gaps: or, breaches made: Heb. hedged the hedge

They have seen2372 vanity7723 and lying3577 divination7081, saying559, The LORD3068 saith5002: and the LORD3068 hath not sent7971 them: and they have made others to hope3176 that they would confirm6965 the word1697.

Have ye not seen2372 a vain7723 vision4236, and have ye not spoken1696 a lying3577 divination4738, whereas ye say559, The LORD3068 saith5002 it; albeit I have not spoken559?

Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Because ye have spoken1696 vanity7723, and seen2372 lies3577, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.

And mine hand3027 shall be upon the prophets5030 that see2374 vanity7723, and that divine7080 lies3577: they shall not be in the assembly5475 of my people5971, neither shall they be written3789 in the writing3791 of the house1004 of Israel3478, neither shall they enter935 into the land127 of Israel3478; and ye shall know3045 that I am the Lord136 GOD3069. assembly: or, secret, or, counsel

Because, even because they have seduced2937 my people5971, saying559, Peace7965; and there was no peace7965; and one built up1129 a wall2434, and, lo2009, others daubed2902 it with untempered8602 morter: a wall: or, a slight wall

Say559 unto them which daub2902 it with untempered8602 morter, that it shall fall5307: there shall be an overflowing7857 shower1653; and ye859, O great hailstones417 68, shall fall5307; and a stormy5591 wind7307 shall rend1234 it.

Lo, when the wall7023 is fallen5307, shall it not be said559 unto you, Where is the daubing2915 wherewith ye have daubed2902 it?

Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; I will even rend1234 it with a stormy5591 wind7307 in my fury2534; and there shall be an overflowing7857 shower1653 in mine anger639, and great hailstones417 68 in my fury2534 to consume3617 it.

So will I break down2040 the wall7023 that ye have daubed2902 with untempered8602 morter, and bring5060 it down to the ground776, so that the foundation3247 thereof shall be discovered1540, and it shall fall5307, and ye shall be consumed3615 in the midst8432 thereof: and ye shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.

Thus will I accomplish3615 my wrath2534 upon the wall7023, and upon them that have daubed2902 it with untempered8602 morter, and will say559 unto you, The wall7023 is no more, neither they that daubed2902 it;

To wit, the prophets5030 of Israel3478 which prophesy5012 concerning Jerusalem3389, and which see2374 visions2377 of peace7965 for her, and there is no peace7965, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.

Likewise, thou son1121 of man120, set7760 thy face6440 against the daughters1323 of thy people5971, which prophesy5012 out of their own heart3820; and prophesy5012 thou against them,

And say559, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Woe1945 to the women that sew8609 pillows3704 to all armholes679 3027, and make6213 kerchiefs4555 upon the head7218 of every stature6967 to hunt6679 souls5315! Will ye hunt6679 the souls5315 of my people5971, and will ye save2421 the souls5315 alive2421 that come unto you? armholes: or, elbows

And will ye pollute2490 me among my people5971 for handfuls8168 of barley8184 and for pieces6595 of bread3899, to slay4191 the souls5315 that should not die4191, and to save2421 the souls5315 alive2421 that should not live2421, by your lying3576 to my people5971 that hear8085 your lies3577?

Wherefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I am against your pillows3704, wherewith ye859 there hunt6679 the souls5315 to make them fly6524, and I will tear7167 them from your arms2220, and will let the souls5315 go7971, even the souls5315 that ye hunt6679 to make them fly6524. to make: or, into gardens

Your kerchiefs4555 also will I tear7167, and deliver5337 my people5971 out of your hand3027, and they shall be no more in your hand3027 to be hunted4686; and ye shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.

Because with lies8267 ye have made the heart3820 of the righteous6662 sad3512, whom I have not made sad3510; and strengthened2388 the hands3027 of the wicked7451, that he should not return7725 from his wicked7563 way1870, by promising him life2421: by: or, that I should save his life: Heb. by quickening him

Therefore ye shall see2372 no more vanity7723, nor divine7080 divinations7081: for I will deliver5337 my people5971 out of your hand3027: and ye shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.
