3Behold, thou art wiser2450 than Daniel1840; there is no secret5640 that they can hide6004 from thee:
4With thy wisdom2451 and with thine understanding8394 thou hast gotten6213 thee riches2428, and hast gotten6213 gold2091 and silver3701 into thy treasures214:
5By thy great7230 wisdom2451 and by thy traffick7404 hast thou increased7235 thy riches2428, and thine heart3824 is lifted up1361 because of thy riches2428:
6Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Because thou hast set5414 thine heart3820 as the heart3824 of God430;
7Behold, therefore I will bring935 strangers2114 upon thee, the terrible6184 of the nations1471: and they shall draw7324 their swords2719 against the beauty3308 of thy wisdom2451, and they shall defile2490 thy brightness3314.
8They shall bring thee down3381 to the pit7845, and thou shalt die4191 the deaths4463 of them that are slain2491 in the midst3820 of the seas3220.
9Wilt thou yet559 say559 before6440 him that slayeth2026 thee, I am God430? but thou shalt be a man120, and no God410, in the hand3027 of him that slayeth2490 thee.
10Thou shalt die4191 the deaths4194 of the uncircumcised6189 by the hand3027 of strangers2114: for I have spoken1696 it, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.
11Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came unto me, saying559,
12Son1121 of man120, take up5375 a lamentation7015 upon the king4428 of Tyrus6865, and say559 unto him, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Thou sealest up2856 the sum8508, full4392 of wisdom2451, and perfect3632 in beauty3308.
13Thou hast been in Eden5731 the garden1588 of God430; every precious3368 stone68 was thy covering4540, the sardius124, topaz6357, and the diamond3095, the beryl8658, the onyx7718, and the jasper3471, the sapphire5601, the emerald5306, and the carbuncle1304, and gold2091: the workmanship4399 of thy tabrets8596 and of thy pipes5345 was prepared3559 in thee in the day3117 that thou wast created1254.
14Thou art the anointed4473 cherub3742 that covereth5526; and I have set5414 thee so: thou wast upon the holy6944 mountain2022 of God430; thou hast walked up and down1980 in the midst8432 of the stones68 of fire784.

18Thou hast defiled2490 thy sanctuaries4720 by the multitude7230 of thine iniquities5771, by the iniquity5766 of thy traffick7404; therefore will I bring forth3318 a fire784 from the midst8432 of thee, it shall devour398 thee, and I will bring5414 thee to ashes665 upon the earth776 in the sight5869 of all them that behold7200 thee.
19All they that know3045 thee among the people5971 shall be astonished8074 at thee: thou shalt be a terror1091, and never369 shalt thou be any more5704 5769.
20Again the word1697 of the LORD3068 came unto me, saying559,
21Son1121 of man120, set7760 thy face6440 against Zidon6721, and prophesy5012 against it,
22And say559, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon6721; and I will be glorified3513 in the midst8432 of thee: and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068, when I shall have executed6213 judgments8201 in her, and shall be sanctified6942 in her.
23For I will send7971 into her pestilence1698, and blood1818 into her streets2351; and the wounded2491 shall be judged5307 in the midst8432 of her by the sword2719 upon her on every side5439; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.
24And there shall be no more a pricking3992 brier5544 unto the house1004 of Israel3478, nor any grieving3510 thorn6975 of all that are round about5439 them, that despised7590 them; and they shall know3045 that I am the Lord136 GOD3069.
25Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; When I shall have gathered6908 the house1004 of Israel3478 from the people5971 among whom they are scattered6327, and shall be sanctified6942 in them in the sight5869 of the heathen1471, then shall they dwell3427 in their land127 that I have given5414 to my servant5650 Jacob3290.
26And they shall dwell3427 safely983 therein, and shall build1129 houses1004, and plant5193 vineyards3754; yea, they shall dwell3427 with confidence983, when I have executed6213 judgments8201 upon all those that despise7590 them round about5439 them; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068 their God430.
