2Son1121 of man120, set7760 thy face6440 against Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt4714, and prophesy5012 against him, and against all Egypt4714:
3Speak1696, and say559, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt4714, the great1419 dragon8577 that lieth7257 in the midst8432 of his rivers2975, which hath said559, My river2975 is mine own, and I have made6213 it for myself.
4But I will put5414 hooks2397 2397 in thy jaws3895, and I will cause the fish1710 of thy rivers2975 to stick1692 unto thy scales7193, and I will bring thee up5927 out of the midst8432 of thy rivers2975, and all the fish1710 of thy rivers2975 shall stick1692 unto thy scales7193.
5And I will leave5203 thee thrown into the wilderness4057, thee and all the fish1710 of thy rivers2975: thou shalt fall5307 upon the open6440 fields7704; thou shalt not be brought together622, nor gathered6908: I have given5414 thee for meat402 to the beasts2416 of the field776 and to the fowls5775 of the heaven8064.
6And all the inhabitants3427 of Egypt4714 shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068, because they have been a staff4938 of reed7070 to the house1004 of Israel3478.
7When they took hold8610 of thee by thy hand3709, thou didst break7533, and rend1234 all their shoulder3802: and when they leaned8172 upon thee, thou brakest7665, and madest all their loins4975 to be at a stand5976.
8Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I will bring935 a sword2719 upon thee, and cut off3772 man120 and beast929 out of thee.
9And the land776 of Egypt4714 shall be desolate8077 and waste2723; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068: because he hath said559, The river2975 is mine, and I have made6213 it.
10Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers2975, and I will make5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 utterly2721 waste2723 and desolate8077, from the tower4024 of Syene5482 even unto the border1366 of Ethiopia3568.
11No foot7272 of man120 shall pass through5674 it, nor foot7272 of beast929 shall pass through5674 it, neither shall it be inhabited3427 forty705 years8141.
12And I will make5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 desolate8077 in the midst8432 of the countries776 that are desolate8074, and her cities5892 among8432 the cities5892 that are laid waste2717 shall be desolate8077 forty705 years8141: and I will scatter6327 the Egyptians4714 among the nations1471, and will disperse2219 them through the countries776.
13Yet thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; At the end7093 of forty705 years8141 will I gather6908 the Egyptians4714 from the people5971 whither they were scattered6327:
14And I will bring again7725 the captivity7622 of Egypt4714, and will cause them to return7725 into the land776 of Pathros6624, into the land776 of their habitation4351; and they shall be there a base8217 kingdom4467.
15It shall be the basest8217 of the kingdoms4467; neither shall it exalt5375 itself any more above the nations1471: for I will diminish4591 them, that they shall no more rule7287 over the nations1471.
16And it shall be no more the confidence4009 of the house1004 of Israel3478, which bringeth2142 their iniquity5771 to remembrance2142, when they shall look6437 after310 them: but they shall know3045 that I am the Lord136 GOD3069.
17And it came to pass in the seven7651 and twentieth6242 year8141, in the first7223 month, in the first259 day of the month2320, the word1697 of the LORD3068 came unto me, saying559,
18Son1121 of man120, Nebuchadrezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 caused5647 his army2428 to serve5647 a great1419 service5656 against Tyrus6865: every head7218 was made bald7139, and every shoulder3802 was peeled4803: yet had he no wages7939, nor his army2428, for Tyrus6865, for the service5656 that he had served5647 against it:
19Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I will give5414 the land776 of Egypt4714 unto Nebuchadrezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894; and he shall take5375 her multitude1995, and take7997 her spoil7998, and take962 her prey957; and it shall be the wages7939 for his army2428.
20I have given5414 him the land776 of Egypt4714 for his labour6468 wherewith he served5647 against it, because they wrought6213 for me, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.
21In that day3117 will I cause6779 the horn7161 of the house1004 of Israel3478 to bud forth6779, and I will give5414 thee the opening6610 of the mouth6310 in the midst8432 of them; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.
