2Son1121 of man120, prophesy5012 against the shepherds7462 of Israel3478, prophesy5012, and say559 unto them, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069 unto the shepherds7462; Woe1945 be to the shepherds7462 of Israel3478 that do feed7462 themselves! should not the shepherds7462 feed7462 the flocks6629?
3Ye eat398 the fat2459, and ye clothe3847 you with the wool6785, ye kill2076 them that are fed1277: but ye feed7462 not the flock6629.
4The diseased2470 have ye not strengthened2388, neither have ye healed7495 that which was sick2470, neither have ye bound up2280 that which was broken7665, neither have ye brought again7725 that which was driven away5080, neither have ye sought1245 that which was lost6; but with force2394 and with cruelty6531 have ye ruled7287 them.
5And they were scattered6327, because there is no shepherd7462: and they became meat402 to all the beasts2416 of the field7704, when they were scattered6327.
6My sheep6629 wandered7686 through all the mountains2022, and upon every high7311 hill1389: yea, my flock6629 was scattered6327 upon all the face6440 of the earth776, and none did search1875 or seek1245 after them.
7Therefore, ye shepherds7462, hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD3068;
8As I live2416, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069, surely because my flock6629 became a prey957, and my flock6629 became meat402 to every beast2416 of the field7704, because there was no shepherd7462, neither did my shepherds7462 search1875 for my flock6629, but the shepherds7462 fed7462 themselves, and fed7462 not my flock6629;
9Therefore, O ye shepherds7462, hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD3068;
10Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I am against the shepherds7462; and I will require1875 my flock6629 at their hand3027, and cause them to cease7673 from feeding7462 the flock6629; neither shall the shepherds7462 feed7462 themselves any more; for I will deliver5337 my flock6629 from their mouth6310, that they may not be meat402 for them.
11For thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I, even I, will both search1875 my sheep6629, and seek them out1239.
12As a shepherd7462 seeketh out1243 his flock5739 in the day3117 that he is among8432 his sheep6629 that are scattered6567; so will I seek out1239 my sheep6629, and will deliver5337 them out of all places4725 where they have been scattered6327 in the cloudy6051 and dark6205 day3117.
13And I will bring them out3318 from the people5971, and gather6908 them from the countries776, and will bring935 them to their own land127, and feed7462 them upon the mountains2022 of Israel3478 by the rivers650, and in all the inhabited places4186 of the country776.
14I will feed7462 them in a good2896 pasture4829, and upon the high4791 mountains2022 of Israel3478 shall their fold5116 be: there shall they lie7257 in a good2896 fold5116, and in a fat8082 pasture4829 shall they feed7462 upon the mountains2022 of Israel3478.
15I will feed7462 my flock6629, and I will cause them to lie down7257, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.
16I will seek1245 that which was lost6, and bring again7725 that which was driven away5080, and will bind up2280 that which was broken7665, and will strengthen2388 that which was sick2470: but I will destroy8045 the fat8082 and the strong2389; I will feed7462 them with judgment4941.
17And as for you859, O my flock6629, thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I judge8199 between cattle7716 and cattle7716, between the rams352 and the he goats6260.
18Seemeth it a small thing4592 unto you to have eaten up7462 the good2896 pasture4829, but ye must tread down7429 with your feet7272 the residue3499 of your pastures4829? and to have drunk8354 of the deep4950 waters4325, but ye must foul7515 the residue3498 with your feet7272?
19And as for my flock6629, they eat7462 that which ye have trodden4823 with your feet7272; and they drink8354 that which ye have fouled4833 with your feet7272.
20Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069 unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge8199 between the fat1274 cattle7716 and between the lean7330 cattle7716.
21Because ye have thrust1920 with side6654 and with shoulder3802, and pushed5055 all the diseased2470 with your horns7161, till ye have scattered6327 them abroad2351;
22Therefore will I save3467 my flock6629, and they shall no more be a prey957; and I will judge8199 between cattle7716 and cattle7716.
23And I will set up6965 one259 shepherd7462 over them, and he shall feed7462 them, even my servant5650 David1732; he shall feed7462 them, and he shall be their shepherd7462.
24And I the LORD3068 will be their God430, and my servant5650 David1732 a prince5387 among8432 them; I the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.
25And I will make3772 with them a covenant1285 of peace7965, and will cause the evil7451 beasts2416 to cease7673 out of the land776: and they shall dwell3427 safely983 in the wilderness4057, and sleep3462 in the woods3293 3264.
26And I will make5414 them and the places round about5439 my hill1389 a blessing1293; and I will cause the shower1653 to come down3381 in his season6256; there shall be showers1653 of blessing1293.
27And the tree6086 of the field7704 shall yield5414 her fruit6529, and the earth776 shall yield5414 her increase2981, and they shall be safe983 in their land127, and shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068, when I have broken7665 the bands4133 of their yoke5923, and delivered5337 them out of the hand3027 of those that served5647 themselves of them.
28And they shall no more be a prey957 to the heathen1471, neither shall the beast2416 of the land776 devour398 them; but they shall dwell3427 safely983, and none shall make them afraid2729.
29And I will raise up6965 for them a plant4302 of renown8034, and they shall be no more consumed622 with hunger7458 in the land776, neither bear5375 the shame3639 of the heathen1471 any more.
30Thus shall they know3045 that I the LORD3068 their God430 am with them, and that they, even the house1004 of Israel3478, are my people5971, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.
