Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came unto me, saying559,
Also, thou son1121 of man120, thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069 unto the land127 of Israel3478; An end7093, the end7093 is come935 upon the four702 corners3671 of the land776.
Now is the end7093 come upon thee, and I will send7971 mine anger639 upon thee, and will judge8199 thee according to thy ways1870, and will recompense5414 upon thee all thine abominations8441.
And mine eye5869 shall not spare2347 thee, neither will I have pity2550: but I will recompense5414 thy ways1870 upon thee, and thine abominations8441 shall be in the midst8432 of thee: and ye shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.
Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; An evil7451, an only259 evil7451, behold, is come935.
An end7093 is come935, the end7093 is come935: it watcheth6974 for thee; behold, it is come935.
The morning6843 is come935 unto thee, O thou that dwellest3427 in the land776: the time6256 is come935 935, the day3117 of trouble4103 is near7138, and not the sounding again1906 of the mountains2022.
Now will I shortly7138 pour out8210 my fury2534 upon thee, and accomplish3615 mine anger639 upon thee: and I will judge8199 thee according to thy ways1870, and will recompense5414 thee for all thine abominations8441.
And mine eye5869 shall not spare2347, neither will I have pity2550: I will recompense5414 thee according to thy ways1870 and thine abominations8441 that are in the midst8432 of thee; and ye shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068 that smiteth5221.
Behold the day3117, behold, it is come935: the morning6843 is gone forth3318; the rod4294 hath blossomed6692, pride2087 hath budded6524.
Violence2555 is risen up6965 into a rod4294 of wickedness7562: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude1995, nor of any1991 of theirs: neither shall there be wailing5089 for them.
The time6256 is come935, the day3117 draweth near5060: let not the buyer7069 rejoice8055, nor the seller4376 mourn56: for wrath2740 is upon all the multitude1995 thereof.
For the seller4376 shall not return7725 to that which is sold4465, although they were yet alive2416: for the vision2377 is touching the whole multitude1995 thereof, which shall not return7725; neither shall any376 strengthen2388 himself in the iniquity5771 of his life2416.
They have blown8628 the trumpet8619, even to make all ready3559; but none goeth1980 to the battle4421: for my wrath2740 is upon all the multitude1995 thereof.
The sword2719 is without2351, and the pestilence1698 and the famine7458 within1004: he that is in the field7704 shall die4191 with the sword2719; and he that is in the city5892, famine7458 and pestilence1698 shall devour398 him.
But they that escape6403 of them shall escape6412, and shall be on the mountains2022 like doves3123 of the valleys1516, all of them mourning1993, every one376 for his iniquity5771.
All hands3027 shall be feeble7503, and all knees1290 shall be weak3212 as water4325.
They shall also gird2296 themselves with sackcloth8242, and horror6427 shall cover3680 them; and shame955 shall be upon all faces6440, and baldness7144 upon all their heads7218.
They shall cast7993 their silver3701 in the streets2351, and their gold2091 shall be removed5079: their silver3701 and their gold2091 shall not be able3201 to deliver5337 them in the day3117 of the wrath5678 of the LORD3068: they shall not satisfy7646 their souls5315, neither fill4390 their bowels4578: because it is the stumblingblock4383 of their iniquity5771.
As for the beauty6643 of his ornament5716, he set7760 it in majesty1347: but they made6213 the images6754 of their abominations8441 and of their detestable things8251 therein: therefore have I set5414 it far5079 from them.
And I will give5414 it into the hands3027 of the strangers2114 for a prey957, and to the wicked7563 of the earth776 for a spoil7998; and they shall pollute2490 it.
My face6440 will I turn5437 also from them, and they shall pollute2490 my secret6845 place: for the robbers6530 shall enter935 into it, and defile2490 it.
Make6213 a chain7569: for the land776 is full4390 of bloody1818 crimes4941, and the city5892 is full4390 of violence2555.
Wherefore I will bring935 the worst7451 of the heathen1471, and they shall possess3423 their houses1004: I will also make the pomp1347 of the strong5794 to cease7673; and their holy places6942 shall be defiled2490 5157.
Destruction7089 cometh935; and they shall seek1245 peace7965, and there shall be none.
Mischief1943 shall come935 upon mischief1943, and rumour8052 shall be upon rumour8052; then shall they seek1245 a vision2377 of the prophet5030; but the law8451 shall perish6 from the priest3548, and counsel6098 from the ancients2205.
The king4428 shall mourn56, and the prince5387 shall be clothed3847 with desolation8077, and the hands3027 of the people5971 of the land776 shall be troubled926: I will do6213 unto them after their way1870, and according to their deserts4941 will I judge8199 them; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.
