Then said559 the LORD3068 unto me, Though Moses4872 and Samuel8050 stood5975 before6440 me, yet my mind5315 could not be toward this people5971: cast them out7971 of my sight6440, and let them go forth3318.
And it shall come to pass, if they say559 unto thee, Whither shall we go forth3318? then thou shalt tell559 them, Thus saith559 the LORD3068; Such as are for death4194, to death4194; and such as are for the sword2719, to the sword2719; and such as are for the famine7458, to the famine7458; and such as are for the captivity7628, to the captivity7628.
And I will appoint6485 over them four702 kinds4940, saith5002 the LORD3068: the sword2719 to slay2026, and the dogs3611 to tear5498, and the fowls5775 of the heaven8064, and the beasts929 of the earth776, to devour398 and destroy7843.
And I will cause5414 them to be removed2189 2113 into all kingdoms4467 of the earth776, because1558 of Manasseh4519 the son1121 of Hezekiah3169 king4428 of Judah3063, for that which he did6213 in Jerusalem3389.
For who shall have pity2550 upon thee, O Jerusalem3389? or who shall bemoan5110 thee? or who shall go aside5493 to ask7592 how thou doest7965?
Thou hast forsaken5203 me, saith5002 the LORD3068, thou art gone3212 backward268: therefore will I stretch out5186 my hand3027 against thee, and destroy7843 thee; I am weary3811 with repenting5162.
And I will fan2219 them with a fan4214 in the gates8179 of the land776; I will bereave7921 them of children, I will destroy6 my people5971, since they return7725 not from their ways1870.
Their widows490 are increased6105 to me above the sand2344 of the seas3220: I have brought935 upon them against the mother517 of the young men970 a spoiler7703 at noonday6672: I have caused him to fall5307 upon it suddenly6597, and terrors928 upon the city5892.
She that hath borne3205 seven7651 languisheth535: she hath given up5301 the ghost5315; her sun8121 is gone935 down while it was yet day3119 3117: she hath been ashamed954 and confounded2659: and the residue7611 of them will I deliver5414 to the sword2719 before6440 their enemies341, saith5002 the LORD3068.
Woe188 is me, my mother517, that thou hast borne3205 me a man376 of strife7379 and a man376 of contention4066 to the whole earth776! I have neither lent on usury5383, nor men have lent to me on usury5383; yet every one of them doth curse7043 me.
The LORD3068 said559, Verily3808 518 it shall be well2896 with thy remnant8281 8293; verily518 I will cause the enemy341 to entreat6293 thee well in the time6256 of evil7451 and in the time6256 of affliction6869.
Shall iron1270 break7489 the northern6828 iron1270 and the steel5178?
Thy substance2428 and thy treasures214 will I give5414 to the spoil957 without price4242, and that for all thy sins2403, even in all thy borders1366.
And I will make thee to pass5674 with thine enemies341 into a land776 which thou knowest3045 not: for a fire784 is kindled6919 in mine anger639, which shall burn3344 upon you.
O LORD3068, thou knowest3045: remember2142 me, and visit6485 me, and revenge5358 me of my persecutors7291; take me not away3947 in thy longsuffering639 750: know3045 that for thy sake I have suffered5375 rebuke2781.
Thy words1697 were found4672, and I did eat398 them; and thy word1697 was unto me the joy8342 and rejoicing8057 of mine heart3824: for I am called7121 by thy name8034, O LORD3068 God430 of hosts6635.
I sat3427 not in the assembly5475 of the mockers7832, nor rejoiced5937; I sat3427 alone910 because6440 of thy hand3027: for thou hast filled4390 me with indignation2195.
Why is my pain3511 perpetual5331, and my wound4347 incurable605, which refuseth3985 to be healed7495? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar391, and as waters4325 that fail539?
Therefore thus saith559 the LORD3068, If thou return7725, then will I bring thee again7725, and thou shalt stand5975 before6440 me: and if thou take forth3318 the precious3368 from the vile2151, thou shalt be as my mouth6310: let them return7725 unto thee; but return7725 not thou unto them.
And I will make5414 thee unto this people5971 a fenced1219 brasen5178 wall2346: and they shall fight3898 against thee, but they shall not prevail3201 against thee: for I am with thee to save3467 thee and to deliver5337 thee, saith5002 the LORD3068.
And I will deliver5337 thee out of the hand3027 of the wicked7451, and I will redeem6299 thee out of the hand3709 of the terrible6184.
