2Thus saith559 the LORD3068 to me; Make6213 thee bonds4147 and yokes4133, and put5414 them upon thy neck6677,
3And send7971 them to the king4428 of Edom123, and to the king4428 of Moab4124, and to the king4428 of the Ammonites1121 5983, and to the king4428 of Tyrus6865, and to the king4428 of Zidon6721, by the hand3027 of the messengers4397 which come935 to Jerusalem3389 unto Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah3063;
4And command6680 them to say559 unto their masters113, Thus saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts6635, the God430 of Israel3478; Thus shall ye say559 unto your masters113;
5I have made6213 the earth776, the man120 and the beast929 that are upon6440 the ground776, by my great1419 power3581 and by my outstretched5186 arm2220, and have given5414 it unto whom it seemed5869 meet3474 unto me.
6And now have I given5414 all these lands776 into the hand3027 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon894, my servant5650; and the beasts2416 of the field7704 have I given5414 him also to serve5647 him.
7And all nations1471 shall serve5647 him, and his son1121, and his son's1121 son1121, until the very time6256 of his land776 come935: and then many7227 nations1471 and great1419 kings4428 shall serve5647 themselves of him.
8And it shall come to pass, that the nation1471 and kingdom4467 which will not serve5647 the same Nebuchadnezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon894, and that will not put5414 their neck6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon894, that nation1471 will I punish6485, saith5002 the LORD3068, with the sword2719, and with the famine7458, and with the pestilence1698, until I have consumed8552 them by his hand3027.
9Therefore hearken8085 not ye to your prophets5030, nor to your diviners7080, nor to your dreamers2472, nor to your enchanters6049, nor to your sorcerers3786, which speak559 unto you, saying559, Ye shall not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon894:
10For they prophesy5012 a lie8267 unto you, to remove you far7368 from your land127; and that I should drive you out5080, and ye should perish6.
11But the nations1471 that bring935 their neck6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon894, and serve5647 him, those will I let remain still3240 in their own land127, saith5002 the LORD3068; and they shall till5647 it, and dwell3427 therein.
12I spake1696 also to Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah3063 according to all these words1697, saying559, Bring935 your necks6677 under the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon894, and serve5647 him and his people5971, and live2421.
13Why will ye die4191, thou and thy people5971, by the sword2719, by the famine7458, and by the pestilence1698, as the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 against the nation1471 that will not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon894?
14Therefore hearken8085 not unto the words1697 of the prophets5030 that speak559 unto you, saying559, Ye shall not serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon894: for they prophesy5012 a lie8267 unto you.
15For I have not sent7971 them, saith5002 the LORD3068, yet they prophesy5012 a lie8267 in my name8034; that I might drive you out5080, and that ye might perish6, ye, and the prophets5030 that prophesy5012 unto you.
16Also I spake1696 to the priests3548 and to all this people5971, saying559, Thus saith559 the LORD3068; Hearken8085 not to the words1697 of your prophets5030 that prophesy5012 unto you, saying559, Behold, the vessels3627 of the LORD'S3068 house1004 shall now shortly4120 be brought again7725 from Babylon894: for they prophesy5012 a lie8267 unto you.
17Hearken8085 not unto them; serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon894, and live2421: wherefore should this city5892 be laid waste2723?
18But if they be prophets5030, and if the word1697 of the LORD3068 be3426 with them, let them now make intercession6293 to the LORD3068 of hosts6635, that the vessels3627 which are left3498 in the house1004 of the LORD3068, and in the house1004 of the king4428 of Judah3063, and at Jerusalem3389, go935 not to Babylon894.
19For thus saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 concerning the pillars5982, and concerning the sea3220, and concerning the bases4350, and concerning the residue3499 of the vessels3627 that remain3498 in this city5892,
20Which Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 took3947 not, when he carried away captive1540 Jeconiah3204 the son1121 of Jehoiakim3079 king4428 of Judah3063 from Jerusalem3389 to Babylon894, and all the nobles2715 of Judah3063 and Jerusalem3389;
21Yea, thus saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts6635, the God430 of Israel3478, concerning the vessels3627 that remain3498 in the house1004 of the LORD3068, and in the house1004 of the king4428 of Judah3063 and of Jerusalem3389;
22They shall be carried935 to Babylon894, and there shall they be until the day3117 that I visit6485 them, saith5002 the LORD3068; then will I bring5927 them up, and restore7725 them to this place4725.
