At the same time6256, saith5002 the LORD3068, will I be the God430 of all the families4940 of Israel3478, and they shall be my people5971.
Thus saith559 the LORD3068, The people5971 which were left8300 of the sword2719 found4672 grace2580 in the wilderness4057; even Israel3478, when I went1980 to cause him to rest7280.
The LORD3068 hath appeared7200 of old7350 unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved157 thee with an everlasting5769 love160: therefore with lovingkindness2617 have I drawn4900 thee.
Again I will build1129 thee, and thou shalt be built1129, O virgin1330 of Israel3478: thou shalt again be adorned5710 with thy tabrets8596, and shalt go forth3318 in the dances4234 of them that make merry7832.
Thou shalt yet plant5193 vines3754 upon the mountains2022 of Samaria8111: the planters5193 shall plant5193, and shall eat them as common things2490.
For there shall be3426 a day3117, that the watchmen5341 upon the mount2022 Ephraim669 shall cry7121, Arise6965 ye, and let us go up5927 to Zion6726 unto the LORD3068 our God430.
For thus saith559 the LORD3068; Sing7442 with gladness8057 for Jacob3290, and shout6670 among the chief7218 of the nations1471: publish8085 ye, praise1984 ye, and say559, O LORD3068, save3467 thy people5971, the remnant7611 of Israel3478.
Behold, I will bring935 them from the north6828 country776, and gather6908 them from the coasts3411 of the earth776, and with them the blind5787 and the lame6455, the woman with child2030 and her that travaileth with child3205 together3162: a great1419 company6951 shall return7725 thither.
They shall come935 with weeping1065, and with supplications8469 will I lead2986 them: I will cause them to walk3212 by the rivers5158 of waters4325 in a straight3477 way1870, wherein they shall not stumble3782: for I am a father1 to Israel3478, and Ephraim669 is my firstborn1060.
Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD3068, O ye nations1471, and declare5046 it in the isles339 afar off4801, and say559, He that scattered2219 Israel3478 will gather6908 him, and keep8104 him, as a shepherd7462 doth his flock5739.
For the LORD3068 hath redeemed6299 Jacob3290, and ransomed1350 him from the hand3027 of him that was stronger2389 than he.
Therefore they shall come935 and sing7442 in the height4791 of Zion6726, and shall flow together5102 to the goodness2898 of the LORD3068, for wheat1715, and for wine8492, and for oil3323, and for the young1121 of the flock6629 and of the herd1241: and their soul5315 shall be as a watered7302 garden1588; and they shall not sorrow1669 any more3254 at all.
Then shall the virgin1330 rejoice8055 in the dance4234, both young men970 and old2205 together3162: for I will turn2015 their mourning60 into joy8342, and will comfort5162 them, and make them rejoice8055 from their sorrow3015.
And I will satiate7301 the soul5315 of the priests3548 with fatness1880, and my people5971 shall be satisfied7646 with my goodness2898, saith5002 the LORD3068.
Thus saith559 the LORD3068; A voice6963 was heard8085 in Ramah7414, lamentation5092, and bitter8563 weeping1065; Rahel7354 weeping1058 for her children1121 refused3985 to be comforted5162 for her children1121, because they were not.
Thus saith559 the LORD3068; Refrain4513 thy voice6963 from weeping1065, and thine eyes5869 from tears1832: for thy work6468 shall be3426 rewarded7939, saith5002 the LORD3068; and they shall come again7725 from the land776 of the enemy341.
And there is3426 hope8615 in thine end319, saith5002 the LORD3068, that thy children1121 shall come again7725 to their own border1366.
I have surely8085 heard8085 Ephraim669 bemoaning5110 himself thus; Thou hast chastised3256 me, and I was chastised3256, as a bullock5695 unaccustomed3808 3925 to the yoke: turn7725 thou me, and I shall be turned7725; for thou art the LORD3068 my God430.
Surely after310 that I was turned7725, I repented5162; and after310 that I was instructed3045, I smote5606 upon my thigh3409: I was ashamed954, yea, even confounded3637, because I did bear5375 the reproach2781 of my youth5271.
Is Ephraim669 my dear3357 son1121? is he a pleasant8191 child3206? for since1767 I spake1696 against him, I do earnestly2142 remember2142 him still: therefore my bowels4578 are troubled1993 for him; I will surely7355 have mercy7355 upon him, saith5002 the LORD3068.
Set thee up5324 waymarks6725, make7760 thee high heaps8564: set7896 thine heart3820 toward the highway4546, even the way1870 which thou wentest1980: turn again7725, O virgin1330 of Israel3478, turn again7725 to these thy cities5892.
How long wilt thou go about2559, O thou backsliding7728 daughter1323? for the LORD3068 hath created1254 a new thing2319 in the earth776, A woman5347 shall compass5437 a man1397.
Thus saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts6635, the God430 of Israel3478; As yet they shall use559 this speech1697 in the land776 of Judah3063 and in the cities5892 thereof, when I shall bring again7725 their captivity7622; The LORD3068 bless1288 thee, O habitation5116 of justice6664, and mountain2022 of holiness6944.
And there shall dwell3427 in Judah3063 itself, and in all the cities5892 thereof together3162, husbandmen406, and they that go forth5265 with flocks5739.
For I have satiated7301 the weary5889 soul5315, and I have replenished4390 every sorrowful1669 soul5315.
Upon this I awaked6974, and beheld7200; and my sleep8142 was sweet6149 unto me.
Behold, the days3117 come935, saith5002 the LORD3068, that I will sow2232 the house1004 of Israel3478 and the house1004 of Judah3063 with the seed2233 of man120, and with the seed2233 of beast929.
And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over8245 them, to pluck up5428, and to break down5422, and to throw down2040, and to destroy6, and to afflict7489; so will I watch over8245 them, to build1129, and to plant5193, saith5002 the LORD3068.
In those days3117 they shall say559 no more, The fathers1 have eaten398 a sour grape1155, and the children's1121 teeth8127 are set on edge6949.
But every one376 shall die4191 for his own iniquity5771: every man120 that eateth398 the sour grape1155, his teeth8127 shall be set on edge6949.
Behold, the days3117 come935, saith5002 the LORD3068, that I will make3772 a new2319 covenant1285 with the house1004 of Israel3478, and with the house1004 of Judah3063:
Not according to the covenant1285 that I made3772 with their fathers1 in the day3117 that I took2388 them by the hand3027 to bring them out3318 of the land776 of Egypt4714; which my covenant1285 they brake6565, although I was an husband1166 unto them, saith5002 the LORD3068:
But this shall be the covenant1285 that I will make3772 with the house1004 of Israel3478; After310 those days3117, saith5002 the LORD3068, I will put5414 my law8451 in their inward parts7130, and write3789 it in their hearts3820; and will be their God430, and they shall be my people5971.
And they shall teach3925 no more every man376 his neighbour7453, and every man376 his brother251, saying559, Know3045 the LORD3068: for they shall all know3045 me, from the least6996 of them unto the greatest1419 of them, saith5002 the LORD3068: for I will forgive5545 their iniquity5771, and I will remember2142 their sin2403 no more.
Thus saith559 the LORD3068, which giveth5414 the sun8121 for a light216 by day3119, and the ordinances2708 of the moon3394 and of the stars3556 for a light216 by night3915, which divideth7280 the sea3220 when the waves1530 thereof roar1993; The LORD3068 of hosts6635 is his name8034:
If those ordinances2706 depart4185 from before6440 me, saith5002 the LORD3068, then the seed2233 of Israel3478 also shall cease7673 from being a nation1471 before6440 me for ever3117.
Thus saith559 the LORD3068; If heaven8064 above4605 can be measured4058, and the foundations4146 of the earth776 searched out2713 beneath4295, I will also cast off3988 all the seed2233 of Israel3478 for all that they have done6213, saith5002 the LORD3068.
Behold, the days3117 come935, saith5002 the LORD3068, that the city5892 shall be built1129 to the LORD3068 from the tower4026 of Hananeel2606 unto the gate8179 of the corner6438.
And the measuring4060 line6957 6961 shall yet go forth3318 over against it upon the hill1389 Gareb1619, and shall compass about5437 to Goath1601.
And the whole valley6010 of the dead bodies6297, and of the ashes1880, and all the fields7709 8309 unto the brook5158 of Kidron6939, unto the corner6438 of the horse5483 gate8179 toward the east4217, shall be holy6944 unto the LORD3068; it shall not be plucked up5428, nor thrown down2040 any more for ever5769.
