And be it indeed551 that I have erred7686, mine error4879 remaineth3885 with myself.

If indeed551 ye will magnify1431 yourselves against me, and plead3198 against me my reproach2781:

Know3045 now645 that God433 hath overthrown5791 me, and hath compassed5362 me with his net4686.

He hath stripped6584 me of my glory3519, and taken5493 the crown5850 from my head7218.

He hath destroyed5422 me on every side5439, and I am gone3212: and mine hope8615 hath he removed5265 like a tree6086.

He hath also kindled2734 his wrath639 against me, and he counteth2803 me unto him as one of his enemies6862.

His troops1416 come935 together3162, and raise up5549 their way1870 against me, and encamp2583 round about5439 my tabernacle168.

He hath put7368 my brethren251 far7368 from me, and mine acquaintance3045 are verily estranged2114 from me.

My kinsfolk7138 have failed2308, and my familiar friends3045 have forgotten7911 me.

They that dwell1481 in mine house1004, and my maids519, count2803 me for a stranger2114: I am an alien5237 in their sight5869.

I called7121 my servant5650, and he gave me no answer6030; I intreated2603 him with1119 my mouth6310.

Have pity2603 upon me, have pity2603 upon me, O ye my friends7453; for the hand3027 of God433 hath touched5060 me.

Why do ye persecute7291 me as God410, and are not satisfied7646 with my flesh1320?

Oh that5414 my words4405 were now645 written3789! oh that5414 they were printed2710 in a book5612! Oh: Heb. Who will give, etc

For I know3045 that my redeemer1350 liveth2416, and that he shall stand6965 at the latter314 day upon the earth6083:

And though after310 my skin5785 worms destroy5362 this body, yet in my flesh1320 shall I see2372 God433: And: or, After I shall awake, though this body be destroyed, yet out of my flesh
