²Moses4872 my servant5650 is dead4191; now therefore arise6965, go over5674 this Jordan3383, thou, and all this people5971, unto the land776 which I do give5414 to them, even to the children1121 of Israel3478.

³Every place4725 that the sole3709 of your foot7272 shall tread upon1869, that have I given5414 unto you, as I said1696 unto Moses4872.

⁴From the wilderness4057 and this Lebanon3844 even unto the great1419 river5104, the river5104 Euphrates6578, all the land776 of the Hittites2850, and unto the great1419 sea3220 toward the going down3996 of the sun8121, shall be your coast1366.

⁵There shall not any man376 be able to stand3320 before6440 thee all the days3117 of thy life2416: as I was with Moses4872, so I will be with thee: I will not fail7503 thee, nor forsake5800 thee.

⁶Be strong2388 and of a good courage553: for unto this people5971 shalt thou divide for an inheritance5157 the land776, which I sware7650 unto their fathers1 to give5414 them. unto this: or, thou shalt cause this people to inherit the land, etc
