4Give out3051 from among you three7969 men582 for each tribe7626: and I will send7971 them, and they shall rise6965, and go1980 through the land776, and describe3789 it according6310 to the inheritance5159 of them; and they shall come935 again to me.
5And they shall divide2505 it into seven7651 parts2506: Judah3063 shall abide5975 in their coast1366 on the south5045, and the house1004 of Joseph3130 shall abide5975 in their coasts1366 on the north6828.

7But the Levites3881 have no part2506 among7130 you; for the priesthood3550 of the LORD3068 is their inheritance5159: and Gad1410, and Reuben7205, and half2677 the tribe7626 of Manasseh4519, have received3947 their inheritance5159 beyond5676 Jordan3383 on the east4217, which Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 gave5414 them.
8And the men582 arose6965, and went away3212: and Joshua3091 charged6680 them that went1980 to describe3789 the land776, saying559, Go3212 and walk1980 through the land776, and describe3789 it, and come again7725 to me, that I may here cast7993 lots1486 for you before6440 the LORD3068 in Shiloh7887.
9And the men582 went3212 and passed through5674 the land776, and described3789 it by cities5892 into seven7651 parts2506 in a book5612, and came935 again to Joshua3091 to the host4264 at Shiloh7887.
10And Joshua3091 cast7993 lots1486 for them in Shiloh7887 before6440 the LORD3068: and there Joshua3091 divided2505 the land776 unto the children1121 of Israel3478 according to their divisions4256.
11And the lot1486 of the tribe4294 of the children1121 of Benjamin1144 came up5927 according to their families4940: and the coast1366 of their lot1486 came forth3318 between the children1121 of Judah3063 and the children1121 of Joseph3130.
12And their border1366 on the north6828 side6285 was from Jordan3383; and the border1366 went up5927 to the side3802 of Jericho3405 on the north6828 side, and went up5927 through the mountains2022 westward3220; and the goings out8444 thereof were at the wilderness4057 of Bethaven1007.
13And the border1366 went over5674 from thence toward Luz3870, to the side3802 of Luz3870, which is Bethel1008, southward5045; and the border1366 descended3381 to Atarothadar5853, near the hill2022 that lieth on the south side5045 of the nether8481 Bethhoron1032.
14And the border1366 was drawn8388 thence, and compassed5437 the corner6285 of the sea3220 southward5045, from the hill2022 that lieth before6440 Bethhoron1032 southward5045; and the goings out8444 thereof were at Kirjathbaal7154, which is Kirjathjearim7157, a city5892 of the children1121 of Judah3063: this was the west3220 quarter6285.
15And the south5045 quarter6285 was from the end7097 of Kirjathjearim7157, and the border1366 went out3318 on the west3220, and went out3318 to the well4599 of waters4325 of Nephtoah5318:
16And the border1366 came down3381 to the end7097 of the mountain2022 that lieth before6440 the valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom2011, and which is in the valley6010 of the giants7497 on the north6828, and descended3381 to the valley1516 of Hinnom2011, to the side3802 of Jebusi2983 on the south5045, and descended3381 to Enrogel5883,
17And was drawn8388 from the north6828, and went forth3318 to Enshemesh5885, and went forth3318 toward Geliloth1553, which is over against5227 the going up4608 of Adummim131, and descended3381 to the stone68 of Bohan932 the son1121 of Reuben7205,
18And passed along5674 toward the side3802 over against4136 Arabah6160 northward6828, and went down3381 unto Arabah6160:
19And the border1366 passed along5674 to the side3802 of Bethhoglah1031 northward6828: and the outgoings8444 of the border1366 were at the north6828 bay3956 of the salt4417 sea3220 at the south5045 end7097 of Jordan3383: this was the south5045 coast1366.
20And Jordan3383 was the border1379 of it on the east6924 side6285. This was the inheritance5159 of the children1121 of Benjamin1144, by the coasts1367 thereof round about5439, according to their families4940.
21Now the cities5892 of the tribe4294 of the children1121 of Benjamin1144 according to their families4940 were Jericho3405, and Bethhoglah1031, and the valley6010 of Keziz7104,
22And Betharabah1026, and Zemaraim6787, and Bethel1008,
23And Avim5761, and Parah6511, and Ophrah6084,
24And Chepharhaammonai3726, and Ophni6078, and Gaba1387; twelve8147 6240 cities5892 with their villages2691:
