2Speak1696 unto Aaron175, and unto his sons1121, and unto all the children1121 of Israel3478, and say559 unto them; This is the thing1697 which the LORD3068 hath commanded6680, saying559,
3What376 man376 soever there be of the house1004 of Israel3478, that killeth7819 an ox7794, or lamb3775, or goat5795, in the camp4264, or that killeth7819 it out2351 of the camp4264,
4And bringeth935 it not unto the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150, to offer7126 an offering7133 unto the LORD3068 before6440 the tabernacle4908 of the LORD3068; blood1818 shall be imputed2803 unto that man376; he hath shed8210 blood1818; and that man376 shall be cut off3772 from among7130 his people5971:
5To the end that the children1121 of Israel3478 may bring935 their sacrifices2077, which they offer2076 in the open6440 field7704, even that they may bring935 them unto the LORD3068, unto the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150, unto the priest3548, and offer2076 them for peace8002 offerings2077 unto the LORD3068.
6And the priest3548 shall sprinkle2236 the blood1818 upon the altar4196 of the LORD3068 at the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150, and burn6999 the fat2459 for a sweet5207 savour7381 unto the LORD3068.
7And they shall no more offer2076 their sacrifices2077 unto devils8163, after310 whom they have gone a whoring2181. This shall be a statute2708 for ever5769 unto them throughout their generations1755.
8And thou shalt say559 unto them, Whatsoever man376 there be of the house1004 of Israel3478, or of the strangers1616 which sojourn1481 among8432 you, that offereth5927 a burnt offering5930 or sacrifice2077,
9And bringeth935 it not unto the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150, to offer6213 it unto the LORD3068; even that man376 shall be cut off3772 from among his people5971.
10And whatsoever man376 there be of the house1004 of Israel3478, or of the strangers1616 that sojourn1481 among8432 you, that eateth398 any manner of blood1818; I will even set5414 my face6440 against that soul5315 that eateth398 blood1818, and will cut him off3772 from among7130 his people5971.
11For the life5315 of the flesh1320 is in the blood1818: and I have given5414 it to you upon the altar4196 to make an atonement3722 for your souls5315: for it is the blood1818 that maketh an atonement3722 for the soul5315.
12Therefore I said559 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, No soul5315 of you shall eat398 blood1818, neither shall any stranger1616 that sojourneth1481 among8432 you eat398 blood1818.
13And whatsoever man376 there be of the children1121 of Israel3478, or of the strangers1616 that sojourn1481 among8432 you, which hunteth6679 and catcheth6718 any beast2416 or fowl5775 that may be eaten398; he shall even pour8210 out the blood1818 thereof, and cover3680 it with dust6083.
14For it is the life5315 of all flesh1320; the blood1818 of it is for the life5315 thereof: therefore I said559 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, Ye shall eat398 the blood1818 of no manner of flesh1320: for the life5315 of all flesh1320 is the blood1818 thereof: whosoever eateth398 it shall be cut off3772.
15And every soul5315 that eateth398 that which died5038 of itself, or that which was torn2966 with beasts, whether it be one of your own country249, or a stranger1616, he shall both wash3526 his clothes899, and bathe7364 himself in water4325, and be unclean2930 until the even6153: then shall he be clean2891.
16But if he wash3526 them not, nor bathe7364 his flesh1320; then he shall bear5375 his iniquity5771.
