2If a man376 vow5087 a vow5088 unto the LORD3068, or swear7650 an oath7621 to bind631 his soul5315 with a bond632; he shall not break2490 his word1697, he shall do6213 according to all that proceedeth3318 out of his mouth6310.
3If a woman802 also vow5087 a vow5088 unto the LORD3068, and bind631 herself by a bond632, being in her father's1 house1004 in her youth5271;
4And her father1 hear8085 her vow5088, and her bond632 wherewith she hath bound631 her soul5315, and her father1 shall hold his peace2790 at her: then all her vows5088 shall stand6965, and every bond632 wherewith she hath bound631 her soul5315 shall stand6965.
5But if her father1 disallow5106 her in the day3117 that he heareth8085; not any of her vows5088, or of her bonds632 wherewith she hath bound631 her soul5315, shall stand6965: and the LORD3068 shall forgive5545 her, because her father1 disallowed5106 her.
6And if she had at all an husband376, when she vowed5088, or uttered4008 ought out of her lips8193, wherewith she bound631 her soul5315;
7And her husband376 heard8085 it, and held his peace2790 at her in the day3117 that he heard8085 it: then her vows5088 shall stand6965, and her bonds632 wherewith she bound631 her soul5315 shall stand6965.
8But if her husband376 disallowed5106 her on the day3117 that he heard8085 it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed5088, and that which she uttered4008 with her lips8193, wherewith she bound631 her soul5315, of none effect6565: and the LORD3068 shall forgive5545 her.
9But every vow5088 of a widow490, and of her that is divorced1644, wherewith they have bound631 their souls5315, shall stand6965 against her.
10And if she vowed5087 in her husband's376 house1004, or bound631 her soul5315 by a bond632 with an oath7621;
11And her husband376 heard8085 it, and held his peace2790 at her, and disallowed5106 her not: then all her vows5088 shall stand6965, and every bond632 wherewith she bound631 her soul5315 shall stand6965.
12But if her husband376 hath utterly6565 made them void6565 on the day3117 he heard8085 them; then whatsoever proceeded4161 out of her lips8193 concerning her vows5088, or concerning the bond632 of her soul5315, shall not stand6965: her husband376 hath made them void6565; and the LORD3068 shall forgive5545 her.
13Every vow5088, and every binding632 oath7621 to afflict6031 the soul5315, her husband376 may establish6965 it, or her husband376 may make it void6565.
14But if her husband376 altogether2790 hold his peace2790 at her from day3117 to day3117; then he establisheth6965 all her vows5088, or all her bonds632, which are upon her: he confirmeth6965 them, because he held his peace2790 at her in the day3117 that he heard8085 them.
15But if he shall any ways6565 make them void6565 after310 that he hath heard8085 them; then he shall bear5375 her iniquity5771.
16These are the statutes2706, which the LORD3068 commanded6680 Moses4872, between a man376 and his wife802, between the father1 and his daughter1323, being yet in her youth5271 in her father's1 house1004.
