2Command6680 the children1121 of Israel3478, that they put out7971 of the camp4264 every leper6879, and every one that hath an issue2100, and whosoever is defiled2931 by the dead5315:
3Both male2145 and female5347 shall ye put out7971, without2351 the camp4264 shall ye put7971 them; that they defile2930 not their camps4264, in the midst8432 whereof834 I dwell7931.
4And the children1121 of Israel3478 did so6213, and put them out7971 without2351 the camp4264: as the LORD3068 spake1696 unto Moses4872, so did6213 the children1121 of Israel3478.
5And the LORD3068 spake1696 unto Moses4872, saying559,
6Speak1696 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, When a man376 or woman802 shall commit6213 any sin2403 that men120 commit4603, to do a trespass4604 against the LORD3068, and that person5315 be guilty816;
7Then they shall confess3034 their sin2403 which they have done6213: and he shall recompense7725 his trespass817 with the principal7218 thereof, and add3254 unto it the fifth2549 part thereof, and give5414 it unto him against whom he hath trespassed816.
8But if the man376 have no kinsman1350 to recompense7725 the trespass817 unto, let the trespass817 be recompensed7725 unto the LORD3068, even to the priest3548; beside the ram352 of the atonement3725, whereby an atonement shall be made3722 for him.
9And every offering8641 of all the holy things6944 of the children1121 of Israel3478, which they bring7126 unto the priest3548, shall be his.
10And every man's376 hallowed things6944 shall be his: whatsoever any man376 giveth5414 the priest3548, it shall be his.
11And the LORD3068 spake1696 unto Moses4872, saying559,
12Speak1696 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, and say559 unto them, If any376 man's376 wife802 go aside7847, and commit4603 a trespass4604 against him,
13And a man376 lie7901 with her carnally7902 2233, and it be hid5956 from the eyes5869 of her husband376, and be kept close5641, and she be defiled2930, and there be no witness5707 against her, neither she be taken8610 with the manner;
14And the spirit7307 of jealousy7068 come5674 upon him, and he be jealous7065 of his wife802, and she be defiled2930: or if the spirit7307 of jealousy7068 come5674 upon him, and he be jealous7065 of his wife802, and she be not defiled2930:
15Then shall the man376 bring935 his wife802 unto the priest3548, and he shall bring935 her offering7133 for her, the tenth6224 part of an ephah374 of barley8184 meal7058; he shall pour3332 no oil8081 upon it, nor put5414 frankincense3828 thereon; for it is an offering4503 of jealousy7068, an offering4503 of memorial2146, bringing2142 iniquity5771 to remembrance2142.
16And the priest3548 shall bring her near7126, and set5975 her before6440 the LORD3068:
17And the priest3548 shall take3947 holy6918 water4325 in an earthen2789 vessel3627; and of the dust6083 that is in the floor7172 of the tabernacle4908 the priest3548 shall take3947, and put5414 it into the water4325:
18And the priest3548 shall set5975 the woman802 before6440 the LORD3068, and uncover6544 the woman's802 head7218, and put5414 the offering4503 of memorial2146 in her hands3709, which is the jealousy7068 offering4503: and the priest3548 shall have in his hand3027 the bitter4751 water4325 that causeth the curse779:
19And the priest3548 shall charge her by an oath7650, and say559 unto the woman802, If no man376 have lain7901 with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside7847 to uncleanness2932 with another instead of thy husband376, be thou free5352 from this bitter4751 water4325 that causeth the curse779:
20But if thou hast gone aside7847 to another instead of thy husband376, and if thou be defiled2930, and some man376 have5414 lain7903 with thee beside1107 thine husband376:
21Then the priest3548 shall charge7650 the woman802 with an oath7621 of cursing423, and the priest3548 shall say559 unto the woman802, The LORD3068 make5414 thee a curse423 and an oath7621 among8432 thy people5971, when the LORD3068 doth make5414 thy thigh3409 to rot5307, and thy belly990 to swell6639;
22And this water4325 that causeth the curse779 shall go935 into thy bowels4578, to make thy belly990 to swell6638, and thy thigh3409 to rot5307: And the woman802 shall say559, Amen543, amen543.
23And the priest3548 shall write3789 these curses423 in a book5612, and he shall blot4229 them out with the bitter4751 water4325:
24And he shall cause the woman802 to drink8248 the bitter4751 water4325 that causeth the curse779: and the water4325 that causeth the curse779 shall enter935 into her, and become bitter4751.
25Then the priest3548 shall take3947 the jealousy7068 offering4503 out of the woman's802 hand3027, and shall wave5130 the offering4503 before6440 the LORD3068, and offer7126 it upon the altar4196:
26And the priest3548 shall take an handful7061 of the offering4503, even the memorial234 thereof, and burn6999 it upon the altar4196, and afterward310 shall cause the woman802 to drink8248 the water4325.
27And when he hath made her to drink8248 the water4325, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled2930, and have done4603 trespass4604 against her husband376, that the water4325 that causeth the curse779 shall enter935 into her, and become bitter4751, and her belly990 shall swell6638, and her thigh3409 shall rot5307: and the woman802 shall be a curse423 among7130 her people5971.
28And if the woman802 be not defiled2930, but be clean2889; then she shall be free5352, and shall conceive2232 seed2233.
29This is the law8451 of jealousies7068, when a wife802 goeth aside7847 to another instead of her husband376, and is defiled2930;
30Or when the spirit7307 of jealousy7068 cometh5674 upon him376, and he be jealous7065 over his wife802, and shall set5975 the woman802 before6440 the LORD3068, and the priest3548 shall execute6213 upon her all this law8451.
31Then shall the man376 be guiltless5352 from iniquity5771, and this1931 woman802 shall bear5375 her iniquity5771.
