2Let the children1121 of Israel3478 also keep6213 the passover6453 at his appointed season4150.
3In the fourteenth702 6240 day3117 of this month2320, at even6153, ye shall keep6213 it in his appointed season4150: according to all the rites2708 of it, and according to all the ceremonies4941 thereof, shall ye keep6213 it.
4And Moses4872 spake1696 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, that they should keep6213 the passover6453.
5And they kept6213 the passover6453 on the fourteenth702 6240 day3117 of the first7223 month2320 at even6153 in the wilderness4057 of Sinai5514: according to all that the LORD3068 commanded6680 Moses4872, so did6213 the children1121 of Israel3478.
6And there were certain men582, who were defiled2931 by the dead body5315 of a man120, that they could3201 not keep6213 the passover6453 on that day3117: and they came7126 before6440 Moses4872 and before6440 Aaron175 on that day3117:
7And those1992 men582 said559 unto him, We are defiled2931 by the dead body5315 of a man120: wherefore are we kept back1639, that we may not offer7126 an offering7133 of the LORD3068 in his appointed season4150 among8432 the children1121 of Israel3478?
8And Moses4872 said559 unto them, Stand still5975, and I will hear8085 what the LORD3068 will command6680 concerning you.
9And the LORD3068 spake1696 unto Moses4872, saying559,
10Speak1696 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, saying559, If any376 man376 of you or of your posterity1755 shall be unclean2931 by reason of a dead body5315, or be in a journey1870 afar off7350, yet he shall keep6213 the passover6453 unto the LORD3068.
11The fourteenth702 6240 day3117 of the second8145 month2320 at even6153 they shall keep6213 it, and eat398 it with unleavened bread4682 and bitter4844 herbs.
12They shall leave7604 none of it unto the morning1242, nor break7665 any bone6106 of it: according to all the ordinances2708 of the passover6453 they shall keep6213 it.
13But the man376 that is clean2889, and is not in a journey1870, and forbeareth2308 to keep6213 the passover6453, even the same soul5315 shall be cut off3772 from among his people5971: because he brought7126 not the offering7133 of the LORD3068 in his appointed season4150, that man376 shall bear5375 his sin2399.
14And if a stranger1616 shall sojourn1481 among you, and will keep6213 the passover6453 unto the LORD3068; according to the ordinance2708 of the passover6453, and according to the manner4941 thereof, so shall he do6213: ye shall have one259 ordinance2708, both for the stranger1616, and for him that was born249 in the land776.
15And on the day3117 that the tabernacle4908 was reared up6965 the cloud6051 covered3680 the tabernacle4908, namely, the tent168 of the testimony5715: and at even6153 there was upon the tabernacle4908 as it were the appearance4758 of fire784, until the morning1242.
16So it was alway8548: the cloud6051 covered3680 it by day, and the appearance4758 of fire784 by night3915.
17And when6310 the cloud6051 was taken up5927 from the tabernacle168, then after310 that the children1121 of Israel3478 journeyed5265: and in the place4725 where the cloud6051 abode7931, there the children1121 of Israel3478 pitched their tents2583.
18At the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 the children1121 of Israel3478 journeyed5265, and at the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 they pitched2583: as long as3117 the cloud6051 abode7931 upon the tabernacle4908 they rested2583 in their tents.
19And when the cloud6051 tarried long748 upon the tabernacle4908 many7227 days3117, then the children1121 of Israel3478 kept8104 the charge4931 of the LORD3068, and journeyed5265 not.
20And so it was3426, when the cloud6051 was a few4557 days3117 upon the tabernacle4908; according to the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 they abode2583 in their tents, and according to the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 they journeyed5265.
21And so it was3426, when the cloud6051 abode from even6153 unto the morning1242, and that the cloud6051 was taken up5927 in the morning1242, then they journeyed5265: whether it was by day3119 or by night3915 that the cloud6051 was taken up5927, they journeyed5265.
22Or whether it were two days3117, or a month2320, or a year3117, that the cloud6051 tarried748 upon the tabernacle4908, remaining7931 thereon, the children1121 of Israel3478 abode2583 in their tents, and journeyed5265 not: but when it was taken up5927, they journeyed5265.
23At the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 they rested2583 in the tents, and at the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 they journeyed5265: they kept8104 the charge4931 of the LORD3068, at the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 by the hand3027 of Moses4872.
